STORM SELECT SIX PLAYERS IN FUTURES DRAFT

KEARNEY, Neb. – The Tri-City Storm have completed 2010 USHL Futures Draft and have selected six players in the 1994 birth year. Among the players selected by the Storm were four forwards and two defensemen in the draft that took a little more than two hours to complete on Tuesday morning.
The Storm didn’t have a first-round selection, as Waterloo and Tri-City swapped picks in the first and second round in a prior trade agreement. The Storm selected C Tim Lappin with their first pick in the second round.
Also, the USHL announced on Tuesday that the Storm lost forward T.J. Schlueter in the expansion draft on Monday, as the Dubuque Fighting Saints acquired him in the draft. Schlueter played in 33 games for the Storm this past season and scored one goal and had a minus-4 rating. Click here for more results of the USHL Expansion Draft
