KEARNEY, NE - The Tri-City Storm have named Marco Trevino the tenth head coach in franchise history.
Trevino was serving in his second season as an assistant coach with the Storm. Prior to his assistant role, the Beverly Hills, Michigan native collected over a dozen years of coaching experience between the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite, Detroit Victory Honda, and Detroit Little Caesars organizations.
Before transitioning full-time to Tri-City's coaching staff, Trevino was a key contributor to the organization's scouting and personnel matters for two years.
Trevino enjoyed a three-year playing stint in the United States Hockey League with the Waterloo Black Hawks and Sioux City Musketeers between 2001-2004. He also competed in two professional seasons prior to beginning his coaching career.
Trevino's family includes his wife Keila and three sons, Tristen (18), Messier (15), and Bernie (6).
