The Viaero Center in Kearney, Nebraska is the official home of the Tri-City Storm. Since opening its doors in 2000, the Viaero Center has been the home to the Storm as well as other professional sports teams, concerts, events, and conventions.
Previously known as the Viaero Event Center, the Viaero Center is a 5,000 seat multi-purpose arena located just south of Exit 272 on Interstate 80. See it here on Google!
Previous professional sports tenants at the Viaero Center include the Tri-City Diesel Arena Football team (IFL) and the Nebraska Cranes Basketball Team (USBL).
The Viaero Center features twenty luxury suites in the facility as well as six concession stands, the Bud Light Storm Shelter sports bar (open most event nights), the Premium Club, portable concession locations, and the Storm Store – the official apparel provider of Storm Hockey.
The Viaero Center plays host to many youths in the Tri-City area as the host site of the Tri-City Youth Hockey Association. All practices and home games for all Tri-City Youth hockey teams take place in the Viaero Center. Age ranges for youth hockey players are from two years old to High School seniors.
