Storm end two-game set at U.S. National Team Development Program Under-17 team on Saturday in Michigan

PLYMOUTH, Mich. – The Tri-City Storm close a two-game series at the U.S. National Team Development Program (NTDP) Under-17 team on Saturday night at USA Hockey Arena. Puckdrop is set for 5:00 pm CT.

Team Notes:

  • The Storm have scored 35 goals through their first seven games. This is the highest goal total through the first seven games of a season on record in franchise history. Records go back as far as the 2002-2003 season. It took Tri-City 14 games to reach 35 goals last season.

  • Tri-City's 35 goals are first among all USHL teams this season. The Storm's 5.00 goals per game are also first in the league. 

  • The Storm have scored 14 first period goals this season, the most among all USHL teams. 

  • The Storm power play has converted at 22.7% this year, placing third-best among USHL teams. 

  • Tonight, the Storm end a stretch of four straight games and five of six contests on the road.

  • Aleksandr Sokolov has scored in six of Tri-City's seven regular season games. During the 2026-2027 season, Sokolov ties for the USHL lead in goals (8) and is tied for fifth in points (10). 

  • Sammy Courtemanche's five goals are tied for fifth among USHL players. 

  • Brothers Dylan and Matthew Krayer have tabulated five power play points each, tying for first among USHL players. 

  • Quinn Beumer is one of four USHL goaltenders to record a shutout this season (October 2 at Lincoln). Beumer's 113 saves are fourth among USHL goaltenders.
