The last time the Storm scored at least 17 goals in their first four games of a season was 2003-2004 when they tabulated 17. Tri-City made the Clark Cup Final that year, falling to Waterloo three games to one in the championship series.

Aleksandr Sokolov scored four goals during Tri-City's two-game series with Sioux Falls. The Murom, Russia native recorded a hat trick on Friday night.

Sokolov's Friday hat trick became the only September hat trick on record in Tri-City franchise history.

Sokolov has scored in each of Tri-City's first four regular season games. He is one of two USHL players to score in four straight games (Joey Argentina, Des Moines).

In the 2026-2027 season, Sokolov leads all USHL skaters in goals (6) and is tied for fifth in points (6). Among the players tied for second in goals (4) are former Storm forwards Easton Pace (Chicago) and Mason Jenson (Des Moines).
